U.S. CITIZENS: DON’T FORGET TO VOTE FROM ABROAD
The September 18 Social Security visit is also a timely reminder for Americans living abroad to make sure they are prepared to participate in the 2026 U.S. Midterm Elections.
U.S. citizens residing outside the United States can vote absentee from abroad. The U.S. Department of State recommends that overseas voters submit a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to their local election officials. The FPCA can be used to register to vote and request an absentee ballot, including electronically, by mail or by fax, depending on the voter’s state.
Don’t wait until the last minute.
If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad and want to vote in the November 2026 elections, check your voter registration and request your absentee ballot now.
