American Corner Activities:
The May Theme is Jazz Music, with a poster exhibit featuring American Jazz Musicians.
In line with the theme we have a JAZZ PERFORMANCE by the Stravelli Quartet at Hamericas on May 19th at 8:30 pm. This extraordinary American group performs regularly at Birdland in New York and will be at the Royal Albert Hall in London later in May. Make your reservations directly at Hamericas in viale.
During the month we will show the 2 jazz films at the American Corner: Jazz on a Summer’s Day and The Ladies Sing the Blues. FREE and Open to All
Maker Faire Trieste – May 9 & 10 in Piazza Unità. Come by and visit us in our stand. The Trieste Ukulele Club will be performing each day in the big tent as well as leading a Flash Mob. Teen Maker Space will be there with electronics and Chess.
