Today we present SONG SUNG BLUE, a musical / drama that was nominated for 8 Academy Awards. The film lasts 2 hours 10 minutes and stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Kate Hudson was nominated as Best Actress for an Oscar and Golden Globe.

The May Theme is Jazz Music, with a poster exhibit featuring American Jazz Musicians.

On Tuesday we had a wonderful Jazz Performance with the Stravelli Quartet at Hamerica’s. They also led 2 workshops about the History of Jazz at the Carducci Dante High School.

Trieste Ukulele Club – last meeting of the school year on May 23rd at 10. On the road to Monopolele and then a break until October.

We had a great time at Maker Faire Trieste and our ukulele group performed twice in the main tent.

Yesterday we offered a Masterclass on The Art of Screenwriting, with a leading film and TV series screenwriter from L.A. Very interesting and informative!

Today at 5:30 we have the first meeting of our Investment Club – Free at American Corner Trieste. Learn about personal investment management.
