Associazione Italo Americana FVG

The Associazione Italo Americana of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a non-profit organization recognized by the FVG Region, was founded in 1961.
Initially, it served as a link between the U.S. government and the Trieste community following the closure of the U.S.I.S. (United States Information Service) office in Trieste. Until 2006, the American Consulate was located within the Association’s headquarters. The mission of the Association is to promote American culture and the English language, as well as to foster mutual collaboration between the United States and Italy.
Today, the Association continues to offer English-language courses, activities, and events for members and the public.
