American sports have found a home in Trieste! Baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, football and flag football are bringing American athletic traditions, energy and community spirit to Italy.

Born in the USA. Played in Italy. will celebrate the people, teams and stories connecting American sports with Trieste and the region. The initiative will also highlight opportunities for young athletes to explore the possibility of studying in the United States through sports scholarships and learn more about combining higher education with their passion for sport.

This initiative is made possible thanks to the U.S. Embassy to Italy and the U.S. Exchange Alumni Program.
