One Battle After Another is a 2025 American action thriller film co-produced, written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, inspired by the 1990 novel Vineland by Thomas Pynchon. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti, and follows an ex-revolutionary who is forced back into his former combative lifestyle when he and his daughter become pursued by a corrupt military officer. When their evil enemy resurfaces after 16 years, a group of ex-revolutionaries reunite to rescue the daughter of one of their own.
