Blending swing, bebop, and fresh interpretations of the American Songbook, the quartet brings a vibrant, contemporary sound to the stage. The luminous and expressive voice of Gabrielle Stravelli intertwines with the narrative saxophone of Grammy-nominated Tim Armacost, creating a refined and engaging musical dialogue, supported by the elegance of Art Hirahara and the depth of Pat O’Leary.

The quartet has performed on some of the most prestigious stages of the international jazz scene, from the legendary Smalls Jazz Club to the iconic Birdland Jazz Club, as well as major festivals across the United States.

Today, they continue to tour across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, South American and Asia with standout appearances including the Late Night Jazz Series at the Royal Albert Hall, along with performances in cities such as Bologna, Brussels, and London. Collectively, the members of the quartet have performed and toured with jazz greats including Wynton Marsalis, Fred Hersch, Lionel Hampton, Illinois Jacquet, Stacey Kent, Tom Harrell, Diana Krall and Al Foster.

The Gabrielle Stravelli Quartet will also offer a workshop on March 19, 2026 for students at the Liceo Carducci Dante. “THE BEAT GOES ON: JAZZ THROUGH THE DECADES” is a lively, interactive workshop that will explore the ways in which jazz music began and developed over many decades, mirroring events and trends in American culture.
