The Trieste Ukulele Club, founded in February 2022, is a FREE welcoming community of music lovers who share a passion for the ukulele.
We meet every other Saturday morning for fun, informal FREE sessions that are open to everyone—beginners, seasoned players, and all ages from 8 to 80.
Our motto, “Better Fun Than Perfect”, captures our spirit: we value joy, connection, and creativity over perfection. Members have gone from strumming their very first chords to performing together at major public events, including Trieste Maker Faire in Piazza Unità, Monopolele Ukulele Festival a Monopoli, and Sala Luttazzi.
Thanks to the support of the U.S. Department of State, the club is more than just music—it’s also about skills-building, music diplomacy, and English language learning, all through the universal language of the ukulele.
Participation is FREE with online registration, and instruments are available on loan for beginners who want to give it a try.
